So, ~
crazydreamerdreamson and I arrived in Pittsburgh yesterday - all ready for the heat with our shorts.
Of course it was raining and colder than it was when we left England at 5am!
Yesterday evening, I wandered around the city trying to find the Westin while ~
crazydreamerdreamson slept in the room. When I finally managed to find the Westin, I did the whole 'wait for the
lifts (because I'm British - we don't say elevators) for a year and a half' and then finally found ~
rei-jin's room and spent a couple of hours hanging out with her, her brother and her boyfriend.
Which was awesome, we had pizza and breaded mushrooms and I was downing Mountain Dew to keep me awake - every time I'm in the US, I stock up on Mountain Dew and just live on it.
Finally, at about 11pm, ~
rei-jin sent me back to my hotel room beacause I was falling asleep - by this time, I'd been up and awake for more than 24 hours and was exhausted!
Right now, ~
crazydreamerdreamson and I are camped out in our hotel room in the Doubletree, drawing, laughing at the crapness that is American TV and waiting for ~
rei-jin to wake up...
So I did the survey/meme, although a lot of it doesn't apply because I'm not here to do art so much...

I can't believe you did a straight shot from england x-x that would kill me! I always fly England to NY ahead of time and spend a week or two aclimatising myself to US life again, getting my system used to all the bad food I'm about to feed it

Yeah, it was pretty hectic - we had to change in Chicargo and that was insane as I lost my phone 5 minutes before we had to board and I had the whole of security looking for it...
