Summary
For two weeks I will collect names of people who want to enter.
After these two weeks I will give everyone a different poem, people entering will have the choice of a comic poem or a tragic poem.
Participants will then have two months in which to illustrate what this poem inspires in them.

September 1st.
Rules
- All pieces entered into the contest must be your own work, stock may be used for references or photomanipulations but credit must be given in the description.
- Photography is allowed but photographs must be taken for the contest.
- 'Inspiration' is quite a broad term, in this case it includes art created using ideas from the poem or illustrating the poem.
- The image's description must contain the following: a quotation from the poem, a link to this journal and an explanation of the process of thought which brought you to create the picture (ie, it's a poem about angels so I drew an angel).
- To enter, send a note to me, =Pixel-Spotlight. Make sure you include wether you want a tragic or comic poem.

- Prints or one print totalling up to $20, excluding shipping.
- A year long feature in =Pixel-Spotlight's journal.
- Purchase(s) from £deviantWEAR totalling up to $30.
- A three month feature on *Kiyka's journal.
Second Place
- A three month subscription.
- Prints or one print totalling up to $15, excluding shipping.
- A six month feature in =Pixel-Spotlight's journal.
- A two month feature on *Kiyka's journal.
Third Place
- A one month subscription.
- Prints or one print totalling up to $10, excluding shipping.
- A three month feature in =Pixel-Spotlight's journal.
- A one month feature on *Kiyka's journal.
Six runners up
- A drawing by =Pixel-Spotlight.
- A one month feature in =Pixel-Spotlight's journal.

I really thought hard about the prizes, I wanted a contest that would attract a lot of people in the community and something that any kind of artist would do.
I was origionally going to have people draw one of my characters but that wouldn't be fun for a number of people so I decided to hold this, because (in my opinion) it's origional and illustrating a poem/drawing something it inspires in you is really good fun, I do it a lot. I wanted prizes that would attract everyone so figured these would be best.
I'm not going to have any money left when this is over!
